Green Cities, Inc. in Partnership with Youth Crime Watch of Liberia Conducts Training of Trainers with 200 Waste Collectors within Montserrado and Leads Awareness Campaign on Waste Management and Referral for Plastic and Other Recyclables.:

In order to scale our impact, a Training of Trainers (ToT) session was conducted with 200 waste collectors including community-based enterprises, focusing on key waste management and recycling techniques. This training equips waste collectors and waste management professionals with the knowledge to train others within their respective communities.

• Green Cities, Inc. in Partnership with Youth Crime Watch of Liberia Conducts Training of Trainers with 200 Waste Collectors within Montserrado These 1800 Local community dwellers and informal waste collectors were being trained after TOT sessions with the 200 waste collectors to build the capacity of these individuals to improve waste collection practices and enhance recycling rates within their neighborhoods We have launched an extensive awareness campaign aimed at educating community members about the importance of proper waste management and recycling. Through this initiative, individuals and businesses are being referred to Green Cities, Inc. for plastic and other types of waste, encouraging a more efficient system of waste disposal and recycling.
