Our e-waste service promotes the safe management of electrical and electronic equipment by refurbishing and recycling. We give a second life to solar panels, cook stoves, computers, radios, and more. The aim is to reduce toxic e-waste in landfills, create jobs for youth and women, and protect soil and water from harmful pollution. By extending the use of devices and recycling responsibly, we build a cleaner, healthier environment for communities.

PLASTIC RECYCLING
Plastic recycling focuses on reducing, reusing, and recycling plastic waste to keep communities clean and create income opportunities. Community dwellers can collect 2kg of plastic and sell it to Green Cities to earn cash equal to 1kg of rice. The service mainly targets water sachets and gallons, which are common in Liberia. Collected plastics are crushed, cleaned, dried, and pelletized for end products such as student geometry tools, rubber latex cups, and even fuel like gas and diesel.

This process benefits both the environment and agriculture.

Waste collection is the first step toward achieving our zero-waste goal. Unlike others, we apply a Win-Win Strategy where customers are trained to separate recyclables like cans, scrap, aluminum, and copper. The value of recyclables is weighed and deducted from their waste handling fee.
